Professional Disclaimer (The "Glass Box" Protocol)

Romenter.ai: Insight Engine is a Decision Support System, not a replacement for professional judgment. It utilizes probabilistic Artificial Intelligence which can, and will, occasionally produce inaccurate results ("Hallucinations"). By using this platform, you agree that you are solely responsible for verifying all outputs against original contract documents before taking any commercial or legal action.

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the Romenter.ai: Insight Engine (the "Platform"), operated by Romenter Limited ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you must cease use of the Platform immediately.

2. Service Description

The Platform provides AI-driven forensic document analysis, schedule extraction, and risk auditing services for the construction industry. Services are provided in two modes:

  • Simulation Mode: A demonstration environment using pre-rendered data for educational purposes.
  • Live Mode: Usage-based analysis of user-uploaded documents requiring credits or an active subscription.

3. The "Human-in-the-Loop" Requirement

You acknowledge that AI models are non-deterministic. You agree to strictly adhere to the following protocols:

  • Verification: You must cross-reference any AI-cited clause or date with the original PDF.
  • No Sole Reliance: You agree NOT to rely solely on the Platform for critical path decisions, safety notices, or payment certifications.
  • GDPR Article 22 Compliance: You are strictly prohibited from using the Platform to make "solely automated decisions" that significantly affect individuals (e.g., automatically rejecting a subcontractor payment or issuing employment termination notices based purely on AI output).

4. Credit Policy & Billing

Usage of the Insight Engine is governed by a credit-based system. Credits are consumed upon the initiation of a forensic run. Credits are non-refundable once an analysis has commenced, regardless of the output outcome, unless a technical system failure is proven.

5. Automated Data Retention & Deletion

To protect the sensitivity of construction project data, we enforce a strict automated "Passive Janitor" cleanup protocol:

  • Analytical Reports: Automatically purged 90 days after generation.
  • Raw Project Documents: Automatically deleted 365 days after upload.

It is your responsibility to download and archive any reports or data you require for long-term record keeping before these automated cycles occur.

6. Liability & Indemnity

To the maximum extent permitted by English Law:

  • Exclusion of Consequential Loss: Romenter Limited is NOT liable for any indirect losses, including but not limited to: Liquidated Damages (LDs), Loss of Profit, Project Delays, or Legal Costs incurred as a result of reliance on the Platform.
  • Liability Cap: Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of your use of the Platform is limited to the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

7. Intellectual Property

All technology, algorithms, UI designs, educational course materials (PDFs, video modules), and branding associated with Romenter.ai: Insight Engine are the exclusive property of Romenter Limited..

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
